From the 16th of June to the 3rd of July Bruno and Lois have been participating in a Leadership training session at the 'Welcoming Place' in Akron, Pennsylvania. 24 individuals traveling to Jordan, southeast Asia, Mexico, Kenya, Sudan, Zambia, Rwanda/Burundi, South Africa as well as in North America, have spent many hours and days being introduced to MCC policy, planning processes, management strategies and conflict resolution tools. Internationally based leadership roles are generally 5 years in length.
Eastern Pennsylvania countryside is a panoramic vision of rolling hills and lush vegetation with innumerable farmsteads and villages dotting the landscape. We have enjoyed many delightful coffee shops and wandered over the valleys and hills on foot and bicycles.
Subsequent to the seminar we will be visiting Bruno's mother in Ontario and saying goodbyes to friends and family as we will likely not be returning to the province prior to our departure.
